Ashish Centre

Impacting young lives

The Ashish Centre, our school for children and adolescents ages 3-18, is located in Dwarka, West Delhi. We provide a well-rounded, holistic education with individualized development plans that support the student in his or her uniqueness and needs. It is person centred and based on the roles the student can take in the society. Early intervention through education is a key component in giving children with disabilities more opportunities to succeed, mature, and grow.

Our goal is that each of our student become contributing members of the larger society.

In order to better support our students, we maintain a high teacher-to-student ratio (1 special educator for every 4 students, and 1 adult for every 2 students). We base these ratios on developed-country standards for children having the same types of disabilities as our students.

As per each student’s needs, the individualised education may include:

A very good thing about Ashish is that, along with working on the child, they also involve the parents. They are provided counselling on following up on what their child is learning at school. They are always available over call to help the parents. They organize workshops and programs for parents from time to time.
