Intern with us

Are you a student or aspiring professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities? Ashish Foundation invites passionate and committed individuals from diverse fields—including special education, psychology, counseling, social work, and related disciplines—to join us as interns and be part of our inclusive journey.

Our internship program offers hands-on experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults on the autism spectrum. Interns are mentored by experienced professionals and are exposed to evidence-based practices in education, therapy, community engagement, and family support. Whether you’re seeking practical exposure, fulfilling academic requirements, or exploring a career in the field of disability and inclusion, Ashish Foundation provides a nurturing and professional environment to grow and learn.

Come be a part of a team that believes in dignity, inclusion, and the limitless potential of every individual.

Spending time with the children at Ashish Foundation is truly a blessing. We enjoy music sessions, fun activities, and games together, where I see their creativity and confidence blossom. Every moment with them reminds me of the power of kindness and inclusion, and I feel grateful to witness their journey and grow alongside them.

– Megha, Youthlight Volunteer

My experience with Ashish Foundation was deeply enriching throughout the year. It gave me valuable insight into neurodiversity and the importance of dignity, patience, and person-centred care. I also contributed to awareness efforts through visual documentation, helping promote inclusion. This experience strengthened my learning and deepened my understanding of empathy and the social sector. I’m grateful to the AFDA team for their guidance and commitment to inclusion.

Deepshikha, Intern from Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi

During my internship, I observed how children with developmental disorders are supported to become more independent in daily activities and social interaction. This experience changed my perspective and made me realise the need for a shift in society’s attitude toward them. My role involved capturing photos and videos to create content that spreads awareness and shares their stories. I sincerely thank Ashish Foundation for trusting me with this responsibility and for the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.
