We have been associated with Ashish since last 10 years and there is a lot to say for what Jaden my son is today, because of Ashish. There is no one thing good about Ashish, there’s a lot that’s good and unique about this place. Especially their approach which is so humane. Then its one-one-attention and creating acceptance in the society for autism spectrum children. My child is more today socially aware, knows about the importance of personal hygiene and cleanliness. He is a very happy child. The collaboration between teachers and parents has helped to shape up what Jaden is today.

WHAT IS CEP(Customized Employment)

Customized Employment is a strategy that creates opportunities to individualized, integrated, community-based employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other significant barriers to employment. Customized Employment builds up knowledge of both employee as well as the employer, and creates the opportunity to closely match the skills, talents, and interests of one with the work and  needs of the other.

Customized Employment is:

  • Person Centred: the individual employment seeker is the focus of Customized Employment, and the primary source of direction and inspiration in the process.
  • Skill Driven: Customized Employment identifies the individual’s skills/strengths, and uses those to match as the foundation of a career search for young adults with special needs.
  • Individually Responsive: Customized Employment focuses on each individual and their distinct employment-related needs and goals, to ensure that no one is Left out from giving back to Society/Family, at the same time BE AN INDIVIDUAL SELF.
  • Consistent with values of inclusive, equal wage and community-based employment FOR ALL

What is Customized Employment?

Customized Employment (CE) is a unique employment strategy that is especially designed to seek/match employment options for young adults  with special needs.  CE results in competitive, integrated employment that is based on a determination of skills, interests as well as the strengths, of the employment seeker. The specific abilities of the individual are matched to the needs of an employer.  CE is a specially designed tool between an employer and an employee that is negotiated to meet the needs of both parties.
