Manav’s Journey: From a Quiet Little Boy to a Confident Young Man

Manav joined Ashish Foundation at the age of five as a quiet and reserved child. He found new places challenging, had difficulty expressing himself, and preferred predictable routines. In unfamiliar situations, he often stayed close to his father for reassurance.

At Ashish, structured classrooms, calm communication, and consistent routines supported his learning. Manav responded well to clear instructions, choices, and opportunities to explore at his own pace. Over time, these approaches helped him participate more comfortably and build confidence.

His teachers, Baby ma’am and Ravinder sir, played a significant role in this process. Their patient guidance, structured teaching methods, and consistent encouragement helped Manav develop essential academic, social, and daily-living skills. Their understanding of his learning style and steady support contributed greatly to his progress.

As he grew, Manav’s personality became more visible. He liked keeping his belongings organised and took pride in completing tasks accurately. He was reliable, attentive, and followed directions with ease. His ability to stay focused and complete activities made him a dependable member of the classroom.

Gradually, his interests also became clear. He enjoyed dancing, solving puzzles quickly, and mastering games like Temple Run. He developed an interest in travel and adapted well to new places. Fashion became one of his preferences; he enjoyed choosing trendy, coordinated outfits. Regular exercise kept him active, and structured routines suited him well. He also showed enthusiasm for learning new skills such as baking, participating in class events, and joining outdoor programs.

Throughout his journey, Manav’s father played a key role. He attended every workshop, parent training, and PTM, staying fully involved in Manav’s progress. He applied strategies learned from the school, supported Manav’s daily routine, and even dropped and picked up another Ashish student every day. He also assisted other parents

and contributed positively as an active member of the Ashish community.

Today, Manav is a confident teenager who communicates more openly, engages in social learning activities, and participates in a wide range of school programs. He enjoys class activities, follows instructions well, and continues to develop academically and socially.

From a shy young child to a capable and expressive young man, Manav’s journey reflects steady progress supported by skilled teaching, structured learning, and strong family involvement.

This is Manav’s story—one of growth, learning, and the meaningful impact of the right support at the right time.
