The Ashish Foundation was birthed from a need to have an intervention Centre for children and young adults with Autism and other intellectual challenges based upon Biblical values. The founder herself is a parent of a young man with Autism, and has sought to bring the best talent of teachers and Therapists under one roof.
Established in 2007, on 2nd April (which was also the First World Autism Awareness Day) it is now completing 6 years. In these six years we have moved premises and have grown to 4 projects
.
The Ashish Centre - an early intervention program for children with Autism between the ages of 3-18 years
Sneh Sadan - Our community program for children with intellectual challenges from low income communities
Ankur - Our pre-vocational and vocational program for children ages 12 and older.
Second Chance - A store with a difference- our thrift store which engages young adults with Autism and other challenges in its day to day functioning.
