Early intervention centre for children between age groups of 3-14. The children are taught in groups of 4 by one teacher and one assistant teacher. Occupational therapy is given three times a week. Speech Therapy is also provided for each child. Physical education, Aerobics, tae-kwon-do and gymnastics are also part of their curriculum.
Counseling, training and support is given to parents to train them to work with their children as well as to handle the situations which they go through on account of having a differently abled child.
Vocational education programme in the school is for older children and was started on May 2007. It provides much needed vocational training and assists them to be financially independent. Some of the items made by our children are papeir mache vases, Christmas decorations and tree ornaments, mini waste bins, pencil stands, file folders, gift envelopes, book marks, needle-point articles like coasters and other decorative articles like candles, hearts, , coin purse and felt pin cushions. All the items made by them are sold at our annual Garage sale and Christmas programs and the money is deposited in their personal bank accounts in opened and operated by them in Andhra Bank. In this way they learn how to operate the accounts themselves independently as well as see the fruits of their work. The vocational education class also teaches them appropriate skills for the work environment e.g. hygiene, proper language at work, etc.
